I’ve often said my being a a left wing hippie agitator was all the fault of Pete Seeger. I first started listening to Pete Seeger over fifty years ago. He was one of those special Americans, a voice of conscience, a voice of dignity, freedom equality.
He was one of the best American citizens America has had. More deserving of a Nobel Peace Prize that never came than most who have received it.
I am proud to say he had a great influence upon my life.
