I find the Sisterhood of Transsexual Purity every single bit as messed up as I find the Transgender Borg.

Obsessive Trolls in want of lives.  They seem to have nothing better to do than crawl endlessly through everything from the Usenet to mailing list and now through blogs looking for nits to pick.  They are like zombies looking for brains to eat and people to draw into their troll world where the endless game of Transwarcraft gives meaning to their pointless and empty existence.

Perish the though that the coiners of WBT might not share their obsessions nor their politics.

We might think that Christan Williams, Autumn Sandeen, Dyssonance and Monica Roberts are too crazy to take seriously, but are they  any more fucked up than the trolls of HBS/Classic transsexualdom?

The World of Transwarcraft is kind like George R.R. Martin’s Game of Thrones books, only without the occasional sexual titillation.

Endless fucking war over the meaning of words that no one really gives a damn about.

I stuck my head up, looked around and saw that most of these wars seem to be perpetuated by a relative handful of people, many of whom seem to be on line for 18 or more hours a day which suggests both a lack of sleep and an addiction to stimulants such as cocaine or meth.

I actually remember when I bottoming out with drinking, how I would binge and go on an Internet tear, lashing out full of rage.

That didn’t improve my life.

Sobriety did…

An Acquaintance of mine, Andrea James was curious about a bunch of the players in this World of Transwarcraft. When it comes to the awarding of points for honestly claiming their own words the crazies on the Transgender Borg side win hands down.  They are out there putting their name on their words and often their pictures.  As a result they take the heat.

The Sisters of Transsexual Purity, on the other hand often hide behind aliases.  The ones who don’t tend to be far less dogmatic.

Their attacks come off as though they are right wing operators being paid to follow a script.

They are dogmatic in the same way as the Dominionists who are exposed by Southern Poverty Law Center and People for the American Way.  They use virtually the same scripts.

They hide behind numerous aliases, create different e-mail accounts and even go so far as to put up dummy blogs with zero posts.

In some ways they are very much like Denise Tree aka Kiira Tirea and others.

Refuse to take their bullshit or call them on it and immediately they slip into ad homenim attacks.

It’s easy to dismiss these people as cranks, failures and  nut jobs.

But along with being a general pain in the ass, and annoying they destroy people’s ability to work together for similar purposes even when those purposes aren’t the same.

Lately rather than fighting with people I’ve found myself wondering, Cui bono.  Who benefits?

What if these trolls aren’t just attention whores getting their jollies by stirring shit.

What if stirring shit is how they earn a living?

I wonder because I’ve discovered there are people out there who will pay for people to write reviews for businesses.  But there is even a darker side there are people who get paid to go on the sites of other business and write negative reviews.

Weird and nasty.

Not to mention extremely boring that people are still pushing the same BS they were pushing ten years ago.

Far be it from me to put someone in a spotlight as a subject of derision to be made fun of, but this child deserves it.

He kept sending me messages on the Signorile video until I blocked him, so he took the time to send me this long rambling message. This is sad homophobia defined.

Just read and understand the ignorant mindset behind some people’s reasonings of why they treat us lgbtqs like freaks:

.. you blocked my responses to your post Alvin in YouTube, but I am not surprised, people like you want to block the Truth, to silence it like Chris Mathews even said in his video.

No matter, here it is anyway…

Do you know what it will take for a t-r-u-l-y better world to happen? Brutal honesty, and then Responsible Behavior from everyone! It will take for every single person to look at their lives, identify what they are doing wrong, and correct it, no excuses, …none!

And what is correct and what is wrong behavior? Easy, look at the outcomes of the action, and then it becomes clear as daylight. And we all have flaws, things we need to work on, we assume too much, we care too much about our own selves and not enough for others, we pursue material things when we should we working more on our own selves, we consume too much, we rape the land too much, we neglect one another, we indulge on physical pleasures too much, when we should be more spiritual and protect and not abuse our bodies, and on and on.

And of course, out of those many flawed lives, many negative “side-effects” blossom, like children raised in neglectful environmental/dysfunctional/abusive environments, hell… some of the people having children are themselves children! Many children (like the case of homosexuals) are atrophied by those bad environments, and make the incorrect Gender Identification, or what is called Gender Identity Disorder in Philology, which later blossoms into full homosexuality. Remember, there is no “gay gene”.

My problem with people like you is that the dysfunction you have you seem to try justify it, to excuse it, when in reality if you look at it… A-L-L of it, it is clearly a bad behavior. High disease rates, high mortality rates, high cost to the individual and society, unstable relationships, physical damage to the body due to the erroneous sexual acts, and on and on… and on! It is all here: (Editor’s note – the poor child supplied his page but I refuse to give it out. I’ve seen it and it’s the same cherry-picked or discredited junk science we have seen repeatedly but ths time grouped together in one sad package. The young man obviously took so much work in gathering together his statistics that he didn’t read them thoroughly or derive where they came from. A little note, my friend. There is no such thing as “gay bowel syndrome.” Dumb ass.)

You tell the doctors that have to deal with the many diseases being spread in the population more and more by highly sexually promiscuous homosexuals, since many of homosexuals happen to be asymptomatic, carrying disease most are not even aware of, but are spreading it on to others thanks to your reckless sexual behaviors that homosexuality is good… go on and tell them…

You go on and tell the taxpayer that the health care cost going higher and higher every year due to more and more homosexuals (and other liberals as well) doing reckless sexual behaviors, causing more people to get sick with preventable disease it is a good thing… you go ahead… you tell them (just look at the HIV cost numbers in Canada in that webpage)…go ahead tell them…

Wrongs are wrong, no matter how much you make like doing it, no matter how much you may “feel” you have no choice but to do it! The same thing has happen to other groups like the alcoholics and smokers, people that would say they had “no control over their actions”… “they couldn’t help it”… And just because others may be doing other things wrong still does not make a wrong right… that is the mentality of a child.

In the end, humanity will never achieve a better world as long as groups like the homosexuals stay in denial and keep pushing their dysfunction upon society as an “OK” thing”, as a “harmless thing”, ignoring and even blocking the data again and again that point and says, hey you have a problem…

I leave you with this thought by the great Greek philosopher Socrates (469–399 B.C.E.) that said that the biggest endeavor for a person in life is to “TRULY know thyself” or what he called, to have an Analyzed Life, he wrote: “…The unexamined life is not worth living…”

And please note that I have refuted his claims in a myriad of past posts, including this one which addresses in particularly the lies of “shortened mortality rate,” the “unstable relationships,” and the “promiscuity argument.”

My prime objective for posting this child’s pathetic ramble is for you see the folks who have dived  headfirst into the pool of lies pushed by the religious right.

But with this posting comes a caveat. Not everyone believes this mess and the wilder these folks gets, the more mainstream we are becoming.

So in essence, you are witnessing death throes of archaic ignorance.

But I’m feeling a little guilty about it. Who knew watching the death throes of archaic ignorance would be so much fun to watch?

One more thing that someone just pointed out to me. What’s the definition of stupid irony? Using a quote from a gay man (Socrates) to end a ramble criticizing gays.

Rep. Allen West, a Florida Republican, was recently captured on video asserting that there are “78 to 81” Democrats in Congress who are members of the Communist Party. Of course, it’s not unusual for some renegade lawmaker from either side of the aisle to say something outrageous. What made West’s comment — right out of the McCarthyite playbook of the 1950s — so striking was the almost complete lack of condemnation from Republican congressional leaders or other major party figures, including the remaining presidential candidates.

It’s not that the GOP leadership agrees with West; it is that such extreme remarks and views are now taken for granted.

We have been studying Washington politics and Congress for more than 40 years, and never have we seen them this dysfunctional. In our past writings, we have criticized both parties when we believed it was warranted. Today, however, we have no choice but to acknowledge that the core of the problem lies with the Republican Party.

The GOP has become an insurgent outlier in American politics. It is ideologically extreme; scornful of compromise; unmoved by conventional understanding of facts, evidence and science; and dismissive of the legitimacy of its political opposition.

When one party moves this far from the mainstream, it makes it nearly impossible for the political system to deal constructively with the country’s challenges.

Even as Republicans try to wrestle women into chastity belts, the Vatican is trying to muzzle American nuns.

Who thinks it’s cool to bully nuns? While continuing to heal and educate, the community of sisters is aging and dying out because few younger women are willing to make such sacrifices for a church determined to bring women to heel.

Yet the nuns must be yanked into line by the crepuscular, medieval men who run the Catholic Church.

“It’s not terribly unlike the days of yore when they singled out people in the rough days of the Inquisition,” said Kenneth Briggs, the author of “Double Crossed: Uncovering the Catholic Church’s Betrayal of American Nuns.”

MONTREAL — The Liberal Party of Quebec Premier Jean Charest, faced with a student protest movement that has turned violent, said Sunday it was relocating its annual convention to a city outside Montreal.

The party, which has been in power for nine years in the French-speaking Canadian province that is home to eight million people, had been scheduled to hold its party meeting at the Centre Mont-Royal in Montreal May 4-6.

Instead, it will hold the convention in Victoriaville, 170 kilometers (105 miles) to the east of Montreal, the party said in a statement.

Since mid-February, the provincial government has faced a stiff challenge from students angry over plans to raise school fees as part of an effort to rein in the budget deficit.

Tuition in Quebec had been frozen since the province’s “Quiet Revolution” of the 1960s in a bid to boost access to post-secondary education, but it began to creep up in the 1990s.

The head of Chicago’s NATO Host Committee said Thursday she was blindsided by the federal government’s decision to create a militarized “Red Zone” in the Loop to protect federal buildings in the run-up to the May 20-21 summit at McCormick Place.

The image of federal agents on downtown streets far from McCormick Place — in battle gear, weapons slung — three weeks before the summit is certain to have a chilling effect on those who live and work in the Loop. It also calls into question Host Committee Executive Director Lori Healey’s oft-repeated message that Chicago will remain “open for business” during the summit.

On Thursday, Healey found herself in the difficult position of having to convince the public that a scary headline that blindsided even her is not an indication that the feds are bracing for weeks of trouble.

“A lot of us were surprised to read that. Obviously, the federal government doesn’t consult with the city when they do this. Everybody was unaware of this,” she said.

“It’s common practice for the federal government to have protection around their own buildings. Everybody plans extensively … for lots of different events. This is just getting an undue amount of attention. I would guarantee you they do it for all sorts of events. It’s just that they decided to publicly release it.”

Presidential elections in France are a media spectacle rivalled perhaps only by those in the United States. In day-to-day life, there is also a real buzz as people argue and discuss the race on worksites, the street and, habitually, in cafes.

Streets are plastered with posters of candidates and clever activist propaganda (over the top of some street signs here, activists have put up “Impasse Sarkozy”).

This election, whose first round was on April 22, is proving to be particularly polarising. It has mobilised sections of the populace who in previous elections have felt alienated or disappointed by candidates, left or right.

The so-called centrist vote lost significant ground in this election from 2007.

With the campaign of Jean-Luc Melenchon for the newly formed parliamentary alliance Left Front, many people on the left have been given a feeling of hope they have not had for a long time ― or, for the young, perhaps ever.

Melenchon is the most successful single candidate to the left of the social democratic Socialist Party since Georges Marchais of the French Communist Party (PCF) in 1981.

The success of Melenchon’s anti-neoliberal campaign in framing the debate throughout the campaign has led many journalists to begin bemoaning that the rich are being “scapegoated”.

Some things you should know about Robert Gagnon:

• His definition of homosexuality: “By definition homosexual desire is sexual narcissism or sexual self-deception. There is either (1) a conscious recognition that one desires in another what one already is and has as a sexual being (anatomy, physiology, sex-based traits) or (2) a self-delusion of sorts in which the sexual same is perceived as some kind of sexual other.“

• Says quite plainly: “It is my contention that homosexual practice is a more serious violation of Scripture’s sexual norms than even incest, adultery, plural marriage, and divorce. “

• Says of scientific classifiers pertaining to gays and pedophilia: “This idea that ‘homosexuals’ and ‘pedophiles’ are mutually exclusive groups is just ‘smoke and mirrors’ by psychiatric and psychological associations concerned to protect the image of homosexual persons.”

• Gagnon has defended the resoundingly repudiated (even by the right)  “researcher” Paul Cameron, saying that there is “a strong ‘out-to-get-him’ movement among gay activists.” To back his view, Gagnon uses George Rekers, the man both known for his own “rent boy” scandal.

• Claims gays threaten American even more than war: “The one political concern where the greatest sea change in the federal government’s policies is likely to come is not in social programs for the disadvantaged, the environment, taxes, or even the Iraq War. No, the greatest change is likely to come on the issue of homosexual advocacy and the oppressive hand of the federal government against those who resist the false conclusion that homosexual practice is a normal, natural, and acceptable form of behavior that society should promote“

Lately I have been sitting with the brooding knowledge that at least 7 million migrating songbirds were killed this spring running the gauntlet of 84,000 American communication towers that rise as high as 2,000 feet into the sky, braced by invisible guy wires that garotte the birds right out of the air.

This is actually just a fraction of the number of birds killed each year by running a collision course with human activity.

This spring has been more silent than ever. The traditional dawn chorus of birdsong has ebbed to a few lonely little souls, most belonging to non-migratory species like cardinals, bluejays, chickadees and sparrows.

They say that when Europeans first arrived on this continent, the migration of the passenger pigeons would literally darken the sky for minutes on end.

I have never seen a living passenger pigeon, and it seems that my grandchildren will not know what I mean when I talk about the dawn chorus of riotously busy, happy birdsong, any more than they will be able to imagine an apple orchard in full bloom buzzing with the diligent harvest of a million droning bees.

Knowledge like this makes me sick at heart.  My rational side is aware that mourning is not productive, but another side of me knows that it is one of the special gifts of us humans to feel grief; to locate particular sadnesses in the larger landscape of suffering; and to use our sadness and anger at injustice as a lightening rod for change.

A 17-year old from Mountain Green, Utah, has killed himself due to homophobic bullying, local media organisations report.

Jack Reese is not the first person to have taken his own life in Northern Utah. One official spoke off-the-record to Marian Edmonds of Ogden OUTreach: “It happens here about once a week, but officially, you know, it doesn’t happen here.”

Jack’s boyfriend, Alex Smith, spoke early in the week at a community event during which a film on bullying was being screened. Smith recalled, without even realising that Jack had already taken his own life, how his boyfriend was repeatedly bullied at school.

Yesterday, ahead Jack’s funeral at Ogden this morning, OUTreach, announced that an urgent meeting will be held on May 1, to address LGBT bullying and suicide in Northern Utah. Several community leaders, teachers, parents, and young people are expected to attend, including active members of the Mormon Church.

“The youth I work with all know either a victim of bullying, the loss of a friend to suicide, and most often, both. These youth are bright, creative and loving, yet too often face daily abuse from rejecting families, bullies at school and the loss of their church family. It is time for local schools to incorporate proven techniques for eliminating bullying and homophobia, for churches to preach love and acceptance, and for parents and families to love and accept their children. Each loss of life is a loss for all of us, and it must stop now,” Ms Edmonds said in a statement.
