Happy New Year’s Eve… Resolutions? Feel Free to Share…

My big resolutions are to lose weight and get both my blood pressure and cholesterol under control.

Other resolutions are to find an income source, job, full or part time that doesn’t involve working some place where they actively abuse the employees.  Or that doesn’t involve selling something that is either a rip-off or a food product I am appalled they are selling at all.

In short I am looking for a job that isn’t totally soul killing.

I resolve to write more and get a book finished and published.

I resolve to play my guitar more, do more photography and start painting again.

To sell more stuff on e-Bay.

To avoid ruts by reading authors that are new to me, watching more non-mainstream films and by listening to new and different non-mainstream musical artists.

A few years ago, Tina and I heard the Dresden Dolls at Cyndi Lauper’s True Colors Tour.

Just today Amazon suggested this really cool band:  Gogol Bordello…

Anyhow I will check the blog through out the evening and okay posts to this thread with resolutions and suggestions for the blog.

    New year resolutions?
Get myself off this laptop. I spend far too much time on here.

Take myself down to the Mac cosmetic counter for a make over. I never was big on using make up but time is catching up with me. I need to get some tips!

Lose weight (as usual) Do it every year. I lose 30lbs between Xmas and Summer then put it all back again between Autumn and December. It’s probably not good for me but i follow Lena Kiev’s Paleo diet when I want to lose weight.
Like you Suzy, get back to my art. Haven’t done anything for two years. Anyone want to buy one (blatant plug alert!!!) check here: http://www.londonart.co.uk/sales/viewartthumbnail.aspx?aid=5487

Keep up the Blog Suzy, I enjoy reading it. I didn’t think there was many as left wing as me. But you and Andrea B are on my wave length.
    Happy New year!

I should ban junk food from my life. Institute a rule of looking up any of the chemicals in food that I don’t recognize.

Buying make up is a waste of money for me. I buy it because I feel I should wear make-up at work, wear it 2 or 3 days then it collects dust next to the bathroom sink. What can I say, I’m an old commie hippie.

The cholesterol and blood pressure is causing me to think shifting more to the vegetarian side of omnivore.

It’s funny having a trans-blog that treats trans as just an element in our lives rather than the only thing in our lives but that is part of being post-transsexual but as the years go by the connections fade.

Transgender rights are just one thing I fight for not the only thing I care about.
