I Love Nancy Pelosi

Nancy Pelosi ranks way up their on my list of the “Good Guys” in the House of Representatives.  She is one of the real Democrats and not a wuss like our President.  The Dream Act is a matter of simply doing the right thing.

Democrats make concerted push on ‘don’t ask’ repeal, DREAM Act

Here’s an idea attach it to the give away to the rich bill Obama sold us out on.

While we are at it attach Abortion Funding, High Speed Rail and Repeal of DOMA to it as well.

Load that motherfucker down with every single piece progressive legislation we can imagine.

In a series of moves one day after cutting a deal with Republicans on tax cuts, the White House and Democratic leaders made a concerted push to advance repeal of “don’t ask, don’t tell” and pass the DREAM Act in the lame-duck session.

“We’ve had important endorsements over the past few days, and I think in many ways as a result of the process and the survey that the Pentagon issued last week, the president is hopeful and encouraging Democrats and Republicans to get behind that,” Gibbs said.

Senate May Vote on DADT Today

Suddenly with the world wide eruption of a cyber-war with those brave warriors who support Julian Assange vs the Empire of Corporate Fascism and being faced with the class war act of betrayal on the part of the incredible shrinking President, DADT seems like a distraction.

Almost like people are fighting to join the military of the Empire.

Currently DADT is so far down my agenda list as to not really be part of what I am following.

But if it is high on you agenda I understand and today would be the time to pound your Senators with phone calls and e-mails.
