40 Years Ago Today The National Guard Opened Fire on the Students at Kent State

When the shooting was over four students lay dead, murdered by their fellow citizens, kids their own age only wearing a uniform of the National Guard.

Nine others were wounded.

When the media talks about the violence of the 1960s they make it sound as though it was the protesters who did the violence yet from the murders of the civil rights workers and the Panthers to the murders at People’s Park, Kent State and Jackson State it was the police and the National Guard doing the murdering or in the case of the murders of the civil rights workers abetting the Klan in their filthy racist acts.

Well, if you go to right wing sites, or go to some of the “conservative” gun groups, all you hear is that those kids at Kent State “deserved to die”.

They totally support all the repressive acts against black, brown, and “smart-ass” white folks. Tthey also seem to think “hippies” must die.

These are some very sick fucks.
