I just learned from a friend of mine that she cannot access this blog from China.
Wow…
She thinks it is because of the sexual in the blog title. But I wonder.
You see I do not see Chinese Capitalism as an improvement over Chinese Communism and I am also anti-globalization as well as a Fair Trade not Free Trade anti-G8/G24 etc.
And an anarchist at heart who despises authoritarianism in any stripe whereas the Ayn Rands of China think they should be able to be virtual if not literal slave owners and embrace a cultural heritage of oppressing the poor that goes back 2000 or more years, that was only briefly interrupted by Mao.
Oh well… I’m proud of being censored by a bunch of totalitarian assholes. I wear this one as a badge of honor.
Screw the cheap crap from China. Buy the products made in your own nation whenever possible. Screw the exploiting of cheap labor in China, India and elsewhere that puts the working people of your own nation on the poverty train.

We get that sometimes, but the banning seems tilted toward specific content. The last time we were banned outright throughout China we protested and got it reversed on the basis of scientific interest.

Actuallly Sharon has a point.
It might be an idea to contact them and see if you can get them to lift the restriction.
Would be interesting to see how it works out.
