The issue here, of course is the puritanical idea that bodily pleasure is evil (necessary because of the “fallen species” idea in the creation myth).
The fear and loathing that many have for their sexuality and its expression (except for reproduction, and only then because it’s essential to racial survival) constantly disgusts me.
Did their “God” give us these feelings just so we can abuse them, thereby giving him an excuse to damn one of us to his hell fires? If he did, then one cannot say much for his character (notice its always a guy??…. yeah…)

The biologists have told us that all mammalian species have around 10% or so members that are homosexual, rather putting the lie to the religionists claims that it’s “unnatural”. I wonder if transsexuality occurs in other mammals too? Hard to find out I would imagine, but it would not surprise me.
Sexual pleasure is perfectly natural, be it with another (and never mind their sex) or “DIY”.
Let’s face it, we all masturbate, it’s just that many won’t admit it because they have been taught to be ashamed of their bodily functions, especially the sexual ones.
It’s a recipe for psychosis and sexual perversions like rape and abuse of children, both of which occur within marriages regarded as “sacred”.
